Hi, a warm welcome to Upcycled by M! I am Rebecca and my husband and I run a family business upcycling furniture. We are based in Chipping Sodbury, South Gloucestershire.

Looking for someone to paint and upcycle your furniture for you?

So perhaps you have inherited a piece of vintage furniture that just doesn’t suit your decor or look right with your scheme, but holds huge sentimental value and you want to keep?

Have you considered maybe giving it a refresh and a new look?

Some clients come to me with dark wood furniture that they would like upcycled, to make it much more contemporary looking with a lighter look or orange varnished pine furniture that now looks dated and needs modernising. This tends to be solid, well built furniture that fits the space well and is too good to replace, but just needs a refresh.

It’s a great sustainable option whilst saving money too!

Meet the Designer behind Upcycled by M

I am passionate about Interiors and have a real love for wood and pieces of furniture, which I am sure developed from my childhood time spent in my fathers’ Antique Shop.

I can fondly remember all the smells and sights of my fathers’ shop and how I loved spending time there, dusting off all the furniture, whilst listening intently to all the talk about the different woods and intriguing items. I guess this is where my spark for vintage furniture was first ignited.

I have always loved the country, cottage vibe too and now living in a farmhouse on the edge of the Cotswold’s am perfectly placed to be inspired by the beautiful buildings and countryside around me.
