You can begin with filling out the enquiry form on the website or simply give me a call for a chat about the process.
I start out asking for some photos and dimensions of your furniture and any design/ colour ideas you may have.
We then can chat through/ message about different colour/ finishes options.
We then take a small booking deposit to book you in our commission diary at a mutually convenient time.
We can quote to collect and deliver back the furniture too.
We then send progress photos at each stage of the process checking you are happy.

I use a variety of different high quality paint brands and am not tied to any one paint supplier.
So I use eggshells, mineral paints and various brands from Little Greene, to Fusion mineral paint, Farrow & Ball plus a few others.
-
That’s fine! I understand the idea of having a piece of furniture painted can seem scary.
But trust that you are in safe hands and I will guide you along the process from start to finish.
I can supply paint sample sticks for you to look at in your own home/ own lighting and also suggest colour brands and palettes I think would compliment your colour scheme.
-
Yes, I can!
I provide a sourcing service as I often get asked to help find that elusive piece that you just cant find on the High Street!
I can look for a suitable piece, if I haven’t already got anything suitable in my current stock.
I can then send you photos and dimensions and an approx guide price for it once upcycled to see if it will fit your brief.

I often get asked this question!
The key to painting furniture and making it durable and able to stand the test of time, is all in the preparation and finish.
I pride myself on thorough preparation of all my furniture before a paint brush gets anywhere near it!
I only use the best quality products and paints too which I know I can trust.
I am a bit of a perfectionist too, so the finish has to be high quality.
-
Yes!
I can upcycle any furniture. I often get asked to upcycle and lighten dark pieces of furniture that no longer suit the room. It’s amazing how changing the colour and look of a piece can transform a home.
And yes, I can also update that ‘orange pine’ furniture for you too! I can strip and sand the varnish away and give it a new lease of life.
-
Yes, we can co-ordinate with your existing furniture. We can match your kitchen cabinetry colours or furniture colours and even look to tone in with any existing wood tones or worktop colours.
This can be useful if you are looking to introduce some new furniture to your kitchen or living rooms and want it all to co-ordinate harmoniously.
We use colour sample sticks that we send to you to match up or carry out consultations to help advise on this.
So rest assured a co-ordinated room scheme is definitely achievable.
-
We are very competitive with our pricing for commissions.
Clients are often surprised at how reasonable upcycling a piece of furniture is compared to replacing and buying new. And often clients cant find an equally suitable or solid, well-made piece brand new.
We offer a free quotation service and can provide an estimate very quickly, so if you are just trying to get an idea of costs, please just get in touch and we can help.

Yes, we can lighten the colour of your furniture. We have upcycled many pieces of oak and pine furniture which maybe has gone orangey or darkened over time.
We can lighten the wood tones with sanding/stripping down then staining or paint washes or paint colours.
This is a great way to make your furniture more contemporary and timeless.
You will see examples of pieces we have finished like this on our Gallery page and Commissions page.
You can always send me some photos of your furniture if you would like my ideas, opinions on how we could modernise it for you.
